We have teamed up with legendary Sydney artist Kris Andrew Small for our inaugural artist collaboration series. Kris brings with him an exciting energy and a joyful explosion of colour, typography, pattern, and collage in his artwork. He’s known for being on the pulse of societal issues and channeling them into loud and abstract visuals on a variety of mediums, textiles, packaging, animations, zines, and anything in between. His previous clients include heavyweights Adidas, Nike, Apple, Dazed, and Die Zeit, amongst others, and has exhibited his work at world-renowned institutions such as the V&A in Dundee and MAD, in the Louvre, Paris.⁠

This release isn’t just a pretty box. It houses 3-litres of old-vine Mourvedre, grown on dry, brick-red soils. The vines are more than 70 years old, and produce very little wine, which makes this a very special release. The nose has predictable Mourvedre funk, spice and earth, giving way to a palate that is lighter than one might initially expect. You can expect dark Morello cherries, baking spices, freshness, vibrancy and tartness. There’s still texture and weight, though, its got some nice grip and tannin, but extremely well balanced.

To make sure the wines suited the artwork, Kris worked with us on this wine, and with this in mind, set about creating the three pieces of artwork for the boxes.
